Paul Markulin
Paul is a Team Leader of one of the Accounting teams. Paul has over of 15 years experience in the taxation and accounting disciplines and has been with mbt for more than 3 years. His experience ranges over a number of areas including taxation, accounting, budgeting and reporting.
Examples of work undertaken by Paul include:
- Advising on taxation implications of transactions and events.
- Providing proactive advice on reducing taxation obligations where possible.
- Reviewing management reports and advising on monthly performance.
- Advising on business purchases and sales.
- Reviewing and advising on cashflow projections.
- Liaising with government departments including the Australian Taxation Office.
- Providing extra support to clients when necessary.
Paul has presented several seminars covering a variety of topics. Recently he spoke at a Mortgage Choice seminar on taxation issues relevant to rental properties.
